JOB SUMMARY:

Hello, Pittsburgh, PA!
Our Cavs Academy Coaching Team is gearing up to hit the road for a summer FULL of youth basketball camps all around the region! As we are scheduled to host multiple camps in the greater Pittsburgh area this summer (June-Aug 2025), we are seeking individuals local to Pittsburgh, PA interested in a part-time position helping us capture meaningful photos and videos at these fun-filled events!

The Youth Sports Content Assistant (Part Time) is responsible for supporting the efforts of the Cleveland Cavaliers Youth Sports Team in capturing meaningful and high-quality content at summer camps, specialized clinics, community events, etc.
** Cavs Academy Camps run Monday-Thursday 8:00am-Noon in various gym locations. Working ALL Pittsburgh based camps is not required, but would be preferred. Part time Content Assistants may select which weeks works best with their schedule.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Serve as assistant to 'Youth Sports Content Specialist' at various Pittsburgh based events.
• Capture high-quality video and photo content at Cavs Youth Sports summer camps, and other community events as needed.
• Familiarize and stay current with league rules around licensing for music on social media and video content.
• Make recommendations on new concepts and content approach.
• Will occasionally be interacting with children and parents at camps and community events.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be 18 years or older before June 2025.
• Currently attending (or recent graduate of) a 4 year Bachelors Degree from an accredited university preferred, not required.
• Advanced experience with photography and videography:
• MUST have one's own camera body and at least 1 camera lens to be considered.
• MUST be able to provide examples of photography / videography via a professional portfolio, website, link on resume, etc.
• Experience working with children in a professional leadership capacity (ie. - youth coach, camp counselor, nanny, teacher, etc.) is preferred.
• Basic understanding of the fundamentals & rules of basketball. Previous experience playing basketball preferred, not required.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.
• Must possess a positive attitude at all times.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Punctual and reliable: must be on time to events as scheduled.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Highly motivated, energetic, and passionate.
