JOB SUMMARY:
The '2025 Summer Temporary Assistant, Facility Operations' is responsible for observing, learning and supporting the day-to-day operation of the Facility Administration Team for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Monsters, and REG (Rock Entertainment Group) at Rocket Arena. This role involves strategic planning, financial analysis, and decision-making to ensure the company's financial health, growth and successful completion of venue projects.
** This is a temporary position from June – August 2025, that will require working roughly 40 hours per week.
** Local candidates preferred. Relocation assistance is not offered for temporary positions.
PAY RATE: $15.00/HR.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assists the Director of Business Administration in project management & oversight of arena projects.
• Assists Sr. Venue Operations Analyst of Building Operations with project management, lease obligate repair tracking.
• Support all Facility Operations Administration team members on the venue projects throughout our properties.
• Collaborates and communicates often with Team Members across various departments about ongoing projects.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
• Proactively communicate with project sponsors, team members, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Assist project managers in managing project schedules, milestones, and budgets. Ensure projects are on scope, on schedule, and within budget.
• Financial Planning and Budgeting: Develop and manage budgets, forecast financial trends, and assess risks to inform strategic decisions.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Create and maintain financial reports, analyze financial data, and provide insights into facilities operation management.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with projects to protect the organization's assets.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to strategic planning by aligning project goals with organizational objectives.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Currently attending (or recent graduate of) a 4-year Bachelor's Degree program, preferably with an emphasis in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office platforms).
• Possesses a positive attitude.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Highly motivated, energetic, and passionate.
• Candidates MUST have flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and occasional Holidays.
