Job Title: Sales Reporting Analyst
Job Summary : The Sales Reporting Analyst will be instrumental in generating comprehensive sales reports and conducting detailed analyses on lifecycle product sales, including physical, digital, and licensing performance. This role is key in providing actionable insights that will drive the optimization of sales strategies across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Report & Business Review Generation
• Produce detailed sales reports that accurately reflect the performance of licensors, highlighting trends and variances to support strategic decisions.
• Collect, organize, and analyze data for recurring reports and ad-hoc requests
• Prepare accounts, channels, and lifecycle business reviews.
• Utilize existing reporting tools and software to build customer and licensing-facing business reviews and relevant sales dashboards, enabling quick response to market changes.
• E nsure the integrity of sales data by maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
• Develop and oversee effective data management processes to support robust reporting.
• Comfortable to work in US hours when needed.
Dashboard Development
• Design and implement performance dashboards that provide real-time insights into licensor activities, enabling quick response to market changes.
• Prepare sales report ppt to highlight dynamic sales strategy.
Analytical Support
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover underlying patterns or issues affecting sales outcomes.
• Provide regular insights and recommendations to enhance sales effectiveness and licensor satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align reporting activities with broader business objectives.
• Ensure that all stakeholders have the necessary data to support operational and strategic initiatives.
Continuous Improvement
• Proactively seek ways to improve reporting techniques and analytics used within the team.
• Keep abreast of industry best practices and introduce new tools or processes that enhance business intelligence and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years' experience in sales reporting analysis, data analytics or business intelligence, preferably within the entertainment or media industry.
• Advanced excel knowledge is required preferably with a certification.
• Proficient in data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate insights from large datasets.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively across diverse teams.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
