Job Description
The Chicago White Sox are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join our Inside Sales Program for the 2025 season. This competitive program aims to hire passionate and committed leaders looking to gain first-hand sales experience in the sports industry.
The Sales Associate Program will run for 12 months and will be hired in two cycles, a January and a June class. This program will provide a full menu of products to sell including Season Tickets, Partial Season Tickets, Group Tickets, Party Areas and Premium Seating. These products will be sold primarily via calls, face-to-face appointments, in game sales tables, networking events and self-prospecting. Training and support will be provided by the leadership team.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for maximizing revenue through the sales of Chicago White Sox ticket packages including Season Tickets, Partial Plans, Group Tickets, Party Areas and Premium Seating.
• Conduct outbound calls daily from provided lists as well as self-prospecting.
• Actively prospect and research new sales leads.
• Work to create new revenue opportunities with existing customers through ticket plans and referrals.
• Meet or exceed short-term as well as long-term sales goals.
• Field inbound phone calls from prospects or existing clients.
• Utilize Ticketmaster's Archtics ticketing software and Microsoft CRM Dynamics to manage customer accounts.
• Conduct in-person appointments with the goal of driving new season ticket revenue.
• Work games and other outside events to support ticket sales initiatives.
• Provide excellent customer service through phone calls, emails, written communication and in-person visits.
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager of Inside Sales.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field required.
• Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office experience preferred.
• Prior sales experience preferred.
• Sports or entertainment experience preferred.
• Must be highly motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Must work well in a team environment and be eager to learn.
• Must be coachable, have good time management skills and be detail oriented.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed.
