VP Group Creative Director (Multiple Locations)

Overview

CBS Stations group is looking for a VP, Group Creative Director to lead the communication and implementation of brand strategy and development across the News + Stations Group. The role requires a deep understanding of the day-to-day workflow of our creative teams, the communication skills to clearly articulate strategies across all departments, and the ability provide one-on-one market direction to maximize brand opportunities and scalable group initiatives.

Responsibilities
• Work closely with lead of Brand Strategy and Development to innovate content and marketing opportunities that reflect the CBS Stations brand.
• Execute strategic vision, customized by market, to successfully implement the CBS Stations brand across content and marketing.
• Collaborate with O&O leadership to identify and build unique brand-compliant opportunities through content, community and advertising via an understanding of each market's local strengths.
• Champion creative direction and production of major initiatives and events.
• Re-imagine how our teams function and help craft a vision for improving in areas of greatest impact.
• Work closely with CBS Stations, CBS News and CBS Marketing to unify our brands.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of local television leadership experience with a strong understanding of brand management, content strategies and the ability to evangelize across the group preferred.
• Ability to communicate and present concepts in a clear and engaging way.
• Collaborate to find solutions, achieve common goals and benchmark results.
• A champion of brand through content, culture and community.
• Have an attention to detail, tone and style.
• Successful record of innovative thinking that generates breakthrough brand-compliant execution.
• Whip smart, loyal to public service, and fan of local news.
