Account Executive

Job Description

CBS Sacramento is looking for a dynamic advertising Account Executive responsible for developing, maintaining, and servicing accounts. This is an outside sales position responsible for generating revenue by prospecting and selling multi-media advertising solutions for our linear and digital properties.

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Strong closing skills and communication skills
• Candidate must be able to develop, service and grow revenue from new and existing business accounts.
• Proficient in devising innovative marketing strategies tailored to meet client requirements with a focus on multimedia solutions.
• Media research and ratings software knowledge preferred. (Nielsen and other programs)

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Previous sales experience is a plus.
• Qualified candidate must have effective oral and written communication abilities and strong people skills.
• Upbeat, detail oriented, self-motivated, reliable, and a strong teammate
• College degree preferred.
• Hybrid position – onsite 3x week.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $70,000.00 - 75,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is eligible to earn sales incentive compensation.
