OVERVIEW
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and self-motivated project manager to join our award-winning London team to organise and manage the workflow through our growing Creative and Design teams and support across our portfolio of global sport & entertainment brands.
We are seeking a Creative Studio Manager to join our busy Creative and Design Department. The role will be responsible for supporting the busy Creative Lab (Insight-led Strategy, creative positioning and campaign creation team) and Design Studio (Full-service design team working across print, social and digital) teams with all inbound briefs, process development, studio workflow, scheduling of all projects, job trafficking and design administrative needs. In-depth knowledge and experience of design production is a must for this role.
THE ROLE
This is a key role in a growing Creative and Design department within CAA Brand Consulting, reporting into the Co-heads of creative you will be the key gatekeeper for all projects briefed into CAA Brand Consulting's creative and design engine including all aspects of partnership marketing from Strategy and creative campaign development to the production of design assets across print, social, digital, experiential activations, photography and film production. As Project Coordinator you will be liaising with key account team stakeholders across the business, managing timings and expectations, prioritising workflow & allocating resource (both in-house and freelance) accordingly. We are looking for an experienced self-motivated team player with working knowledge of creative and design processes and production – you should be able to confidently brief production partners and have experience in photo/film shoot organisation and management. This is a great opportunity for someone who is currently a traffic manager, studio manager or project manager at a design or creative agency who wants to be part of a growing global function within a large business that sits at the cross-section of popular culture.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the main point of contact for the wider Brand Consulting business to engage with the Creative Labs and Design Studio teams
• Liaise with the Account Management team to plan and schedule resource for upcoming projects
• Review and assign incoming briefs based on skillset and business priorities
• Manage the creative briefing process for all Creative Labs and Design Studio requests – from initial brief to final delivery
• Maintain the project management tool (Asana) to ensure that current and incoming assignments are accurately recorded
• Effectively manage multiple projects through clear and concise communication
• Forecast resource capacity and anticipate need for freelance support in a timely manner
Essential Skills
• Demonstrated experience in a Project / Traffic / Studio Management position, preferably at a fast-paced advertising/creative agency
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a flair for knowing when and how specific stakeholders need visibility on projects
• Provide comprehensive communications surrounding the progress of live projects
• Exceptional organisation skills with the ability to prioritise, pre-plan and manage project related risks and challenges
• Proactive problem-solving capabilities that can rise to the challenge of shifting business priorities
• Experience with developing and managing strong relationships
• Having the confidence to be flexible, diplomatic and firm to reach necessary results
• Interest in/experience with creating and/or simplifying business processes to improve efficiency
• The ability to gather, present and draw conclusions from resource scheduling data
Desirable Skills
• A passion for creative and design trends
• Experience with working on partnership marketing and/or sponsorship projects
• Demonstrates a high level of patience and professionalism, with the confidence to express informed opinions when appropriate
• Knowledge of creative and design workflows and job timings with an ability to estimate delivery times
• Responsible for maintaining best practices documentation while effectively managing pressures related to cost and availability
• Briefing calls with key stakeholders whilst leading teammates to promote self-organisation and proactive communication
