The Role

The CAA Brand Consulting team has a Insights and Analytics offering that works across all of our corporate clients. This role is a chance to join our Insights & Analytics team in New York, working closely with our in-house client teams to provide consultancy and research support across a variety of existing and new business projects. Our team offers a variety of research services and products to brand clients and is integral to many aspects of the Brand Consulting business. This role will collaborate significantly across teams from domestic and global offices including London, Munich, Los Angeles and Jacksonville.

The Department

CAA Brand Consulting is a strategy-led, full-service marketing agency with expertise in Cultural and Consumer Insights, Data and Analytics, Talent/Influencer and Property Partnership Advisory, Experiential, Social Impact, Creative Services, and Content and Digital Strategy. These integrated capabilities come together to offer solutions from planning through execution, and we pull in a collective perspective of expertise with each client brief to ensure we are tapping into diverse thinking and building strategies reflective of the marketplace and culture we work within.

Responsibilities
• Design, implementation, and management of sponsorship strategy and measurement initiatives across portfolio of clients
• Utilize third-party, internal, and client-owned research tools to aggregate and analyze marketing data
• Use data visualization skills and tools to analyze, package and communicate reports to key stakeholders, both internally and to external clients
• Leverage data to develop new insights with the goal of improving planning and strategy execution
• Interact directly with clients to manage expectations and meet deadlines
• Development and innovation of analytical tools, vendors and products for our clients

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in relevant quantitative discipline (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, etc.) or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5+ years professional research and analytics experience on agency or brand side
• Strong experience in gathering, cleaning and integrating disparate data sets
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI and/or Tableau skills
• Highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate effectively and persuasively, including ability to present and adapt to different stakeholders
• Natural curiosity and a demonstrated ability to turn observed data into a story about what behavior is driving it
• Understanding of marketing, brand, and social metrics a plus

Preferred Skills
• Understanding of sports and entertainment and sponsorship a plus
• Experience providing strategic thinking to clients, including identifying, analyzing, problem solving, and responding to opportunities and challenges with the ability to translate into practical plans of action
• Involvement in assessing return for both B2C and B2B products and services
• Strong knowledge of industry trends and ability to innovate product and service offerings
• Team player and ability to collaborate with junior and senior level colleagues

Location

Based out of the Los Angeles offices, this role is onsite/in office Tuesday thru Thursday and remote Monday and Friday.

Compensation: The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $91,600-$122,500 . This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
