DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:
The Boston Red Sox Tour Department is dedicated to creating and managing diverse sales initiatives and packages for Fenway Park Tours, ensuring exceptional visitor experiences and a strong commitment to customer service and in-person engagement.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Tour Department is seeking a dynamic, self-starter to join our team as the Tour Sales and Services Coordinator. This individual will be responsible for the sales and services of Fenway Park tour packages and programming, serving as the main point of contact for clients. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional day-to-day support and be accountable for achieving sales and revenue goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Actively promote and sell Fenway Park tour packages to both individual and group clients.
• Develop sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
• Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights for continuous improvement.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met before, during, and after their tour experience.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering repeat business and referrals.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Manage bookings and coordinate logistics for tours, ensuring smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and feedback.
• Assist in the development of marketing materials and strategies to promote tour packages.
• Work closely with other departments to enhance the overall visitor experience at Fenway Park.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for new tour programming and improvements.
CHARACTERISTICS / QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proven experience in sales, customer service, or a related field, preferably within the tourism or hospitality industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with a diverse client base.
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Knowledge of Fenway Park, baseball, and local history is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience with ProVenue, and Salesforce.
