Audacy Atlanta is looking for high energy individuals to join our team.This position allows you to get your foot in the door in a fast-paced media company. The Promotions Assistant position here in Atlanta is unlike any other – this market allows the opportunity for a multitude of desired skill sets including in-field marketing, event production, live broadcast assistance, social media and digital coordination, winner fulfillment, office assistance and more. You may assist with the execution of promoting stations at the events, execute promotional details as aligned with client agreements and work with client sponsors. You regularly interact with our passionate listeners who become winners or interact with the station. You will also have a fingerprint on how the station shows up on web, socials and on air. You are part of the face of the station!

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:
• Coordinates and implements all station appearances, Street Team activities and contesting.
• Logistics coordination for on-site radio station appearance and events.
• Assists management with scheduling and training of the Street Team.
• Writes broadcast and online contest copy and administrates contest execution.
• Attends stations events and supervises event set-up and station visibility.
• Coordinate with Programming to schedule on-air talent for on-site appearances.
• Creates proposals for station prizes, i.e. movie screenings, on-air prizing, etc.
• Handles all listener inquiries in a friendly, professional manner.
• Works directly with Sales and Programming departments to acquire all elements needed for sales promotions, on-air & online contests, on-site appearances, live broadcasts and remotes, i.e., copy, prizes, all complete event information, etc.
• Provides station event recaps.
• Assist with maintaining Radio Station equipment and vehicles.
• Other marketing/promotional dept. duties as assigned by the Promotions Director.
• Assisting with on-air and online contesting, and maintaining station equipment/vehicles. They will coordinate with programming for Talent to be at on-site appearances.

Skills/Attributes
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
• Experience in Event Management in sports, entertainment, lifestyle or news formats
• First-rate organizational skills are a must to succeed in this position
• Experience using Google Workspace
• Willingness to be a team player
• Professional appearance and punctuality
• Night and/or weekend work as needed

Required:
• Must be 21 or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's License with a good record and ability to drive promotional vehicles if needed and/or proof of insurance if the position requires use of the applicant's own vehicle
• Experience executing marketing/promotions campaigns and events is a plus
