Overview

Audacy seeks an experienced and dynamic Manager of Internal Communications to lead and manage our internal communications strategy. This role is essential in fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture through effective communication strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal communications, focusing on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), team member engagement, and reporting on company events and achievements.

This is a full-time, hybrid role, with preference to our Philadelphia office. We will also consider candidates from NYC.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

Strategic Planning and Execution:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications strategy aligned with the company's objectives and values
• Manage the internal communications calendar, ensuring timely and relevant content delivery.

Platform Management:
• Oversee the management and optimization of internal communication platforms (e.g., intranet, email newsletters, internal social media).
• Ensure content is accessible, engaging, and consistent across all platforms.

Content Development:
• Create, edit, and curate content promoting DEI initiatives, enhancing team member engagement, and communicating key company events and milestones.
• Work closely with HR, DEI teams, and other departments to gather and disseminate important information.

Team member Engagement:
• Deploy and help develop initiatives and campaigns that foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, inspire performance, and increase peer-to-peer recognition.

Reporting and Analytics:
• Track and analyze the effectiveness of internal communication strategies and platforms.
• Prepare regular reports on communication metrics and present findings to senior leadership.

Event Coordination:
• Help plan and execute internal events like town halls, all-hands meetings, and team member recognition programs.
• Ensure events are communicated effectively and contribute to team member engagement and morale.

Qualifications

More About You:

Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal communications, preferably within the media industry.
• Proven experience in managing internal communication platforms and developing strategic communication plans.
• Strong understanding and commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) principles.
• Excellent writing, editing, and content creation skills.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in communication tools and technologies (e.g., intranet software, email marketing tools, social media platforms).
• Ability to analyze data and metrics to measure communication effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

Additional Information

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated starting salary range for New York City-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $60,000/yr-$70,000/yr.

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
