Overview
97.1 FM Talk (KFTK - St. Louis) is looking for a full-time Associate Producer to join our team! The right person for this position will have a passion for NewsTalk radio and a desire to grow the brand on-air, in the community, and on social media; with significant attentiveness to digital content production.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
• Contributing creative story ideas, operating a control board, producing live radio, managing breaking news, and managing audio content for distribution across various platforms
• Write, develop, edit, and publish content and copy for a variety of digital platforms across the station and individual shows - including websites, blogs, videos, social media posts/reels, and more
• Identify areas of opportunity and growth for the radio station
• Protect station image and licensing in accordance with applicable agencies
Qualifications
More About You:
Required & Preferred:
• Minimum one year of experience producing or editing radio/audio content
• Interest in news, current events, history, and pop culture
• Proficiency in audio editing
• Proficiency in video editing
• Sharp attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral
