Job Description
Legal Coordinator

Job Purpose

This position is a member of the team responsible for legal services to the entire Arizona Diamondbacks organization. This position is for non-attorney applicants only.

Primary (Essential) Duties
• Primary support for all members of the Legal Department (including multiple attorneys, a risk manager, and interns).
• Liaise with internal departments on contractual matters.
• Initial review and tracking of third-party Certificates of Insurance.
• Track all Legal Department finances and budget (including law firm billings, vendor invoices, and department expenses).
• Project tracking and document management (using NetDocuments platform).
• Signature and contract management (using DocuSign and Ironclad platforms).
• Track Continuing Legal Education requirements for VP & General Counsel and Associate General Counsel.
• Take notes and prepare Minutes from meetings.
• Calendar management for the Legal Department.

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Familiarity with legal terminology and documentation.
• Ability to collaborate on projects with multiple departments and contacts.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company.
• Possess a client-service oriented mentality.
• Multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Adobe, Excel. And PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of DocuSign, Ironclad, and NetDocuments a plus.
• Bilingual (Spanish preferred) a plus, but not required.
• Familiarity with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
• Knowledge of baseball and Arizona Diamondbacks history

Experience/Education Requirements
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience working for a law firm, preferably in a corporate or transactional setting.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Notary or willingness to become one.
• Previous experience with a professional sports team or in the entertainment industry a plus.

• Ability to lift items weighing 25 pounds or more.
