Amazon MGM Studios is the movies and television development and production arm of Amazon. It is Amazon MGM Studios' role to produce original content and license studio programs worldwide in exclusive service of Amazon's Prime Video customers. Amazon MGM Studios is seeking a Studios Operations Manager for Studios leased and owned production facilities in the UK. The location is based in London, UK. The ideal candidate has a passion for business growth, process and operational improvement, is customer obsessed, exhibits strong ownership, and quickly earns stakeholder trust. This job requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence change at all levels while working cross-functionally with both Amazon MGM Studios and Amazon teams.

Key job responsibilities
• Manage the day-to-day operations of production facilities with internal facilities teams and external operators, ensuring smooth workflows and efficient space utilization for film, TV, and media productions.
• Partner with the Client Services team to deliver exceptional on-site experiences for production, ensuring needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
• Act as a key point of contact for all customer-facing matters, offering support throughout the production cycle-from initial inquiry to project wrap.
• Ensure facilities meet production requirements and standards at all times
• Oversee third-party contractors, service providers and studio operations partners, ensuring their work aligns with production needs. Manage vendor performance and service delivery to maintain high production quality and client satisfaction.
• Develop and implement an operational framework for managing owned production facilities, selecting and overseeing appropriate vendors in line with production requirements.
• Collaborate in the planning of the redevelopment and expansion of production facilities to meet the evolving needs of film and TV productions.
• Ensure that studios, soundstages, and other facilities are always ready for immediate use by incoming productions.
• Develop and enforce Health & Safety, security, and emergency response protocols tailored to production environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Ensure clear communication and resolution of any operational issues on-site. Actively act on feedback to enhance customer experience, ensuring facilities meet specific production needs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Multiple years of experience in film production operations, studio management, or facilities management within the entertainment industry.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, delivering exceptional service and handling customer needs across the production lifecycle.
- Strong track record in creating and managing maintenance programs for production facilities, including managing vendors and service contracts.
- Skilled in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating across teams to meet production timelines.
- Experience negotiating commercial contracts with vendors and service providers, ensuring terms meet production and operational needs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience working across various levels of an organization and with external stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high service standards.
