The Business Development and Content Partnership team is focused on enabling customers to discover and engage with Amazon Music anywhere, any time. We work with a wide range of telecom companies, mobile OEMs, music labels, audio equipment brands, smart TV and car manufacturers, to key players in gaming, fitness, social, financial services, radio, television and live entertainment. This role is based in Mumbai and will work closely with IN BD lead and also collaborate with Global BD and Partner Marketing teams.

Key job responsibilities
As a BD Operations Manager you will be responsible for operationalizing Amazon Music's partnerships working with internal and external partners for launch and beyond. This person will have a 360-degree view of launch and ensure all aspects of launch are delivered per contract. Post launch they will track the partnership and continue to look for ways to optimize.

You will collaborate directly and closely with Amazon Music's key external partners as well as with internal stakeholders (e.g. BD, Partner Marketing, Programming, Legal, Product, Tech, BI, Label Relations, Design and Engagement Marketing).

A day in the life
As BD Operations Manager on the Amazon Music team, your key responsibilities will include:
• Working cross-functionally with Business Development, Partner Marketing, BI, Legal, Design, Programming, Label Relations and Product & Engineering teams to support the launch and optimization of key partnerships: this includes setting up tracking and reporting requirements, procuring partnership content, working with marketing to create & approve assets, working with legal on T&C's and managing the end to end testing process.
• Manage the day-to-day operations relating to contractual partner terms & reporting obligations whilst continually look for ways to improve partnerships
• Identify issues and work with product and tech to trouble shoot
• Centralize the creation and maintenance of resources and toolkits for the international Business Development and Partner Marketing teams
• Analyze & assess internationalization opportunities in specific verticals, regions and countries

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior executives
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
• 6+ years experience in program or project management or 2+ years of experience with an MBA
• 6+ years experience delivering cross functional projects or 2+ years of experience with an MBA
• Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
• Experience defining and executing against program requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of experience in a client/external facing partner and operations management role within a digital entertainment company, music label, vMVPD, device OEM
• Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss business and technical concepts, schedule tradeoffs, and evaluate new opportunities
• Proven negotiating skills and influencing abilities with external and internal partners
• Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management and meeting deadlines
• Strong quantitative analysis, problem solving and project management skills
• A great deal of personal initiative, creativity, decisiveness and team spirit
• Ability to think both strategically and tactically with strong attention to detail
• Proactive attitude; willingness to roll up sleeves and dig deep to achieve goals
• Previous experience working with business owners to define clear business questions and structure data-driven analyses that answer those questions
• Ability to prioritize and communicate clearly, both verbal and written, across all levels of the organization with a proven ability to solve problems and influence others
• Fluent in Hindi, English (written and spoken)
