Your Mission
Activision Publishing is currently looking for an Associate Producer to join the Call of Duty franchise. We are looking for an individual who has a passion and proven track record for producing and launching great games.
As an Associate Producer on Call of Duty, you will be responsible for providing support to the production and development teams across various areas. This entails active participation throughout the entire development process, from pre-production to submission. Your specific duties include overseeing tasks such as PR and Marketing initiatives, Quality Assurance (QA), localizations, ratings, legal clearances, build schedules, play testing, live events, game feedback, and other related aspects of production.
The Associate Producer oversees critical production aspects, including management of significant game features or business initiatives. Additionally, they provide primary support to Producers and Senior Producers.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Oversee various aspects of Call of Duty production including marketing, localizations, ratings, legal clearance, events, trailers, and other production-related areas.
• Regularly conduct risk assessments for the production team leadership, addressing potential hazards and bottlenecks that may impact the game schedule and quality. Associate Producers should be equipped to troubleshoot these issues and propose solutions or suggest subsequent actions.
• Collaborate closely with Development Studios, QA, Localization, Submission teams, and other supporting groups to ensure the timely submission of game code to first parties. Maintain open communication channels across all teams to facilitate seamless collaboration.
• Work closely with QA and Technical Requirements Groups to oversee the QA process. This involves coordinating and communicating with the Production team, QA, Technical Requirement Groups, and Developers to keep everyone informed about the status of the bug database.
• Develop strong relationships with the Development teams to provide exceptional support to the Studio and its games.
• Manage build schedules, build troubleshooting, and build distribution as needed to internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead as a secondary point of contact for cross-functional groups such as Brand Management, Product Marketing, Public Relations, and others.
• Provide creative feedback to Production team leadership to assist in ensuring that the product meets quality and feature objectives.
• When necessary, record meeting notes and translate them into a coherent, organized recap that includes a list of action items.
Player Profile
• 3+ years of Associate Producer experience in developing and executing comprehensive game production and project plans
• Knowledge of and experience in game production on consoles and PC
• Proactive & productive; drives timely decision-making, invested in outcomes
• Resourceful, steadfast and committed to delivering results
• Understands the fundamental concepts of scoping, scheduling, staffing, budgeting, and project management
• Able to work with Producers to create scenarios for submission and release; knowledge of First Party timelines and processes
• Able to identify problems and propose solutions within owned areas
• Actively manages own tasks and responsibilities to ensure deadlines are met
• Understands how to tailor communication style to the audience in the conversation (internal/external/developer/executive)
• Earns trust & respect of peers; is viewed as a great teammate
• A passionate advocate for excellence, good enough is not sufficient
• Builds strong relationships across the organization (publishing/development)
• Can influence without authority

In the US, the standard base pay range for this role is $29.81 - $55.14 Hourly. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all US locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role's range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
