WABC is seeking a dynamic and resourceful Production Secretary! The Production Administrative Assistant serves as the Assistant to the Executive Producer for a syndicated morning talk show. In addition to general administrative duties, the Production Administrative Assistant aids in all facets of production, from guest research to assisting in the studio during the show's taping.

Responsibilities:
• The Production Administrative Assistant will also serve the role of internship supervisor, training and managing the show's interns.
• They will be expected to anticipate the needs of the office and the Executive Producer and respond accordingly.
• The Production Secretary should be able to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task, being flexible and adaptable to change.
• This role serves as the point person for all meeting requests, agendas, documents, and questions for the Executive Producer.
• The Production Secretary is involved in daily production meetings and is encouraged to contribute to brainstorming meetings.

Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of one year of television production experience
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Deep passion for live television news and social media
• Adherence to the highest standards of journalism
• Experience and knowledge of various social network sites, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube, Pinterest, Giphy

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience using tools within the Adobe Suite, such as Premiere and Photoshop
• Strong knowledge of pop culture and social media trends

Required Education:
• High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Broadcast Journalism

The hiring range for this position in New York is $48,880 to $67,210 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
