ABC News is responsible for all of the ABC Television Network's news programming, including ''World News Tonight with David Muir,'' ''Nightline,'' ''Good Morning America,'' ''GMA3,'' ''20/20,'' ''This Week with George Stephanopoulos,'' ABC News Live, ABC News Radio, ABCNews.com, and satellite service NewsOne. The News division also creates content for various streaming partners like Disney + and Hulu. These award-winning teams provide the latest information and analysis of major events to bring viewers a better understanding of the world.

The role of a VOD editor includes clipping and distribution of ABC News video for digital platforms and clients. You will pivot from Avid editing to web tools for CMS publishing. Must be able to work independently, using editorial judgement, with high attention to detail. Experience editing with Avid Media Composer is required; knowledge of After Effects is a plus. Previous experience working in a live news environment is preferred.

Responsibilities:
• Basic editing of news video on Avid
• Use of web tools to publish and distribute video content
• Organization of show rundowns and clearance information
• Metadata management
• SEO implementation
• Breaking news support
• Quality assurance of video content across digital platforms

Basic Qualifications:
• Avid Media Composer experience required
• Avid Interplay experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of relative experience

Required Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
