Job Description
Our Emerging Talent Programs, which includes Interns, Trainees, and Finance Rotational Associates, offer unique opportunities for students, recent graduates, and emerging talent to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies, TV shows, and other great experiences. These seasonal, paid assignments provide meaningful and productive work that allows you to build on your experience and develop your skills further. You will be provided with challenging tasks, real-world experience, and many educational and social networking opportunities.

This Fall Internship is from September through December 13th (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work part-time hours (10-29 a week). Our offices are open Monday through Friday, 9-6 pm. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university. A hybrid work structure may or may not be available.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

Global Real Estate and Facilities, Workspace Solutions Team supports the Culver City studio lot and its population by maintaining the lot's buildings and infrastructure and providing office space and associated services (e.g., design services) for the company's business units. The department also manages and maintains off-lot properties, both locally and globally, designs, manages, and executes construction projects on the lot.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The department has launched an initiative to optimize furniture usage and placement on the lot. Intern will work closely with department, inter department staff, and the project's lead.

Tasks will include but are not limited to:
• Furniture Verification and documentation of executive offices – Document 300 s.f. office furniture at two buildings. This project ties into a larger strategic project to optimize and automate our furniture process.
• Furniture Standards Verification and Documentation – verify various types of furniture standards that are in place in several buildings. This project ties into a larger strategic project to optimize and automate our furniture process.
• Photo documentation of all furniture standards by building. This project ties into a larger strategic project to optimize and automate our furniture process.
• There will be opportunity to shadow on a construction project(s), attend departmental meetings, attend vendor presentations, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of programs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Preferred candidate will have an interest or background in interior design
• Archibus
• Adobe suite of programs
• Presentation document experience

The anticipated base salary for this position is $19/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
