THE POSITION – BOOKING INTERN
Are you looking for an exciting internship experience? Our paid Internship Program provides real-world experience for students who are interested in the live entertainment industry. After finishing this program, you will have gained broad experience in various aspects of live entertainment business. You can also expect to apply your academic learning to real-world situations and cultivate your leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. This is a part-time position, up to 40 hours per week.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Assisting booking department with administrative duties (Master Calendar, Avails, Routings, Contact Grids, Offer sheets etc…)
• Support the booking team in all aspects of buying responsibilities including preparation and distribution of offer sheets, administrative support, talent research and prospecting.
• Research new, up, and coming artists, and distribute info to booking team.
• Complete expense reports and book travel as needed.
• Final internship project will be assigned at the beginning of the internship program to be presented at the end.
• In this case a good project could be to conduct in-depth market research to explore how to effectively market a Latin artist across different regions. Focus on media consumption habits, identify key Latin demographics, and uncover additional areas of opportunity. Use these insights to develop a strategic plan for an upcoming artist's tour.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Previous experience preferred (school, internship, or professional)
• Recent graduate or currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
• Recent college graduate or Junior or Senior Standing
• Creative thinker and problem solver
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy
• A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs.

The expected compensation for this position is:
$16.50 USD - $20.00 USD Hourly
** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
