THE POSITION – Booking Intern – Touring
Are you looking for an exciting internship experience? Our paid Internship Program provides real-world experience for students who are interested in the live entertainment industry. After finishing this program, you will have gained broad experience in various aspects live entertainment business. You can also expect to apply your academic learning to real-world situations and cultivate your leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. This is a part-time position, up to 40 hours per week.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Assist in administration for booking amphitheatre, arena, and stadium level tours.
• Create and prepare deal sheets in ROME.
• Complete and distribute tour confirmations and event status sheets to internal staff, venues, and partners.
• Execute artist and venue contracts per company guidelines.
• Manage tour files to ensure all essential documents are being properly archived.
• Assist with industry and guest ticketing requests and serve as a liaison on site as needed.
• Research new, up and coming artists, and distribute info to Tour Promoter and Tour Director.
• Work with tour finance to complete weekly artist payments.
• Create reports as needed and distribute to pertinent internal and external stakeholders
• Final internship project will be assigned at the beginning of the internship program to be presented at the end.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
• Learn to manage your time in a fast-paced world with time sensitive deadlines.
• Expand your knowledge of the live events industry with an emphasis on executing global tours.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Recent graduate or currently enrolled in an accredited College or University; Preferably in a field related to the internship you are applying for
• Recent college graduate or Junior or Senior standing
• Previous experience preferred (school, internship, or professional)
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and database programs.
• Fast learner with a strong work ethic and a high sense of responsibility in an ever-changing environment.
• Must be able to handle sensitive matters and exercise excellent judgment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Passionate about live music and the music industry.

The expected compensation for this position is:
$16.50 USD - $20.00 USD Hourly
** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
