What You Will Do
• Reviewing and presenting data for collective bargaining negotiations with entertainment industry labor unions.
• Analyzing and drafting collective bargaining agreements.
• Researching and writing analysis of applicable labor law.
• Drafting responses to grievances, information requests and other legal documents.
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Pursuing a Juris Doctorate (JD) degree and currently enrolled at an accredited law school. In your 1L or 2L year at the time of the internship.
• Relevant coursework in entertainment law, copyrights, trademark, intellectual property and/or negotiation theory/strategy
• Experience with multitasking in a fast-paced environment and balancing multiple projects
• Experience with researching and/or using a range of tools to acquire information and present findings
• A detailed-oriented approach, especially when processing a large volume of documents
• Collaborative teammate who can also work independently
Education
• Must be enrolled in an accredited law school taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program
• Completion of one or more years of law school in a current JD program at the start of the internship
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information
• The approximate dates of this internship are May 2025 through August 2025
• Able to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9am - 6pm PST
• Must have reliable transportation to/from work
• Must provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Los Angeles, CA area
