Job Description
Strategy & Operations (S&O) professionals in Google's Marketing organization provide business critical insights and analytics, ensure cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and help teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. Whether you are embedded within a specific marketing team to use insights to enable better marketing decisions or the global S&O function to equip the organization to succeed at scale, you will engage with Google leadership in order to establish Marketing's strategic direction. You will manage planning and operational processes and work cross-functionally with key partners across Marketing, Product, Finance and Engineering to solve our toughest challenges, advocate for high-priority projects, and drive greater operational excellence within Marketing.
To be successful in this role, you have a hypothesis-driven approach to problem solving, effective quantitative and communication skills, and the ability to take on broad-reaching and ambiguous questions while working collaboratively and cross-functionally with Googlers of all levels.
The Growth team focuses on strategies and tactics across the entire user funnel to acquire and retain users. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing retention growth strategies for YouTube's creator ecosystem, with a focus on creator engagement. You will work closely with peers in Marketing and cross-functional stakeholders in Data Science, Product Management, and Engineering.
With the existing viewership of YouTube, you'll find a huge opportunity to reach users in the right context with the right message on our platform while also ensuring strategic direction and learnings are integrated into off-platform channels.
Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.
Resonsibilities:
• Develop and manage the retention growth strategy for product areas, in partnership with cross-functional marketing, product, UX, data science and engineering teams.
• Build and execute targeted lifecycle journeys to engage YouTube creators and drive key business outcomes.

• Develop and refine personalized, data-driven content and messaging strategies that engage creators and enhance their experience on YouTube.
• Own end-to-end campaign management, including audience segmentation, messaging development, A/B testing, and performance analysis. Monitor and optimize lifecycle journeys to improve engagement, retention, and overall business KPIs.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in marketing, growth marketing, or related functions.
• 2 years of experience in consumer growth across marketing or product using insights to inform growth strategy, roadmaps, prioritization, etc.
• Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Ability to communicate in Spanish and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience with lifecycle marketing or personalization strategies to engage target audiences.
• Familiarity with SQL and experience with database management.
• Effective communication skills and ability to drive discussions and presentations across multiple levels of the organization.
• Strong process and project management skills with the ability to set goals, maintain a growth tracker and systematically prioritize growth initiatives.
