The YouTube Shopping Product Activation team is responsible for bringing product to market and market to product. The Shopping Product Activation team works closely with both business and product leaders to scale adoption of YouTube Shopping product across the partner and creator ecosystem. The core capabilities of the team include building GTM strategies, identifying and prioritizing product activation opportunities across the business, ensuring launch readiness, defining and driving execution on product activation across segments, understanding needs of partners and creators to provide Product teams with market feedback and prioritization to shape product roadmaps, developing content strategy, and tracking performance. We are a global team and believe in effective collaborative problem-solving and partnerships to grow the Shopping business at YouTube.
In this role, you will be a critical lead for YouTube Shopping and a partner to the product and partnership teams. You will be responsible for leading strategic creator activation and engagement efforts across global cross-functional teams. You will use data to build activation strategies and manage all aspects of execution, including regular updates to our executive leadership in Shopping and YouTube. You will drive structure, efficiency, communication, and innovation to execute in a fast-paced, change oriented environment.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Resonsibilities:
• Drive hypothesis driven business strategy for YouTube Shopping across users, merchants and creators.
• Lead complex, cross-functional projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, change oriented environment
• Analyze GTM strategies and build GTM plans across first-party and third-party businesses.
• Build creator incentive and scaled activation strategies that directly drive the business outcomes.
• Be comfortable with ambiguity to chart out the course for product in YouTube and have the tenacity to test and learn rapidly to scale.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in strategy and operations, analytics, and Go-to-Market (GTM).
• 4 years of experience in E-commerce, consulting, investment banking, consumer/retail sector or tech start ups.
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience working with Product/Engineering and Partnerships teams to build experiences for all users.
• Experience in creator economy or E-commerce.
• Ability to evolve business and market strategy based on hypotheses, research, data, and industry trends.
• Ability to prioritize evolving growth drivers, balancing strategy and planning for scale with bias towards execution.
• Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills (e.g., SQL, sheets, etc).
• Excellent communication, networking, people management and organizational skills including strategic storylining, prioritizing, scheduling, and time management to work across various business functions and influence different stakeholders.
