Job Description
WSPA-TV/CBS - WYCW/CW Spartanburg is hiring a Promotions Manager. Candidates must be creative, motivated and have production experience writing and editing spots from concept to completion. This position is responsible for producing effective on-air promotional spots, digital marketing and special projects.
• Work closely with Creative Services Director to brainstorm, conceive, write, storyboard, light, shoot, and edit compelling on-air and online promos, lifestyle segments commercials either independently or as a team.
• Communicates with newsroom, talent, and/or clients to develop a production plan.
• Work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and ensure that assigned projects are delivered on time
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Software skills required include Adobe CC Suite production package: Premier Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition and Media Encoder
• Promotional video editing experience in TV environment strongly preferred.
• Possess excellent communication, presentation, organization, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Assists with occasional promotional events which may include nights and/or weekends

Requirements and Skills:
• Minimum 3 years' promotion or commercial experience
• Strong video production skills
• Working knowledge of lighting, audio mixing, color correction.
• Excellent communication/grammar skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Photography and digital photo editing skills, a plus
• Fluency in English.
• Valid driver's license.
