Job Summary/Description:

WPTA, 21Alive, Fort Wayne's News Leader, is seeking a skilled writer with strong news judgment to produce a daily newscast. You'll join a team that is committed to providing viewers with engaging content on multiple platforms. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment that prioritizes weather coverage, breaking news, and investigative reporting. You'll look forward to constructive coaching to get better every day. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work at a station that places a high value on respect and collaboration.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Produce daily newscast
- Pitch relevant and interesting stories during editorial meetings
- Develop a ''digital first'' mindset to creatively share content on multiple platforms
- Skillfully create a rundown that is creatively produced rather than stacked

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Previous reporting and anchor experience
- Comfortable delivery and the ability to connect with the audience
- Strong writing skills
- Strong understanding of digital media
- Four-year college degree
