Job Summary/Description:

WPGA is seeking an Account Executive to solicit new advertisers with a consultative solution sales approach. Candidate will be expected to maintain/build a new client base. The perfect candidate will work with businesses to increase their business and realize a positive ROI on their marketing and advertising investment. Candidate must have a track record of successful business development and the ability to provide digital solutions across multiple platforms. Candidate must also demonstrate a thorough knowledge of agency negotiations, a track record of successful business development, and the ability to provide digital solutions across multiple platforms.

Duties/Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Develop customized marketing solutions and effectively negotiate rates with local clients.
- Assist in developing effective, memorable creative campaigns that deliver results for our clients.
- Evaluate programming from across our linear and digital marketing platforms and communicate value and benefits back to our clients.
- Prospect new accounts and create new sales opportunities in the Macon, McDonough, and Stockbridge areas.
- Develop targeted sales opportunities specific to a client's needs.
- Gray Television provides excellent training from the beginner to the advanced media salesperson
- Account Executive will be expected to come into the Atlanta station at least 1 day a week
*** This position requires the Account Executive to live in Macon and will be a hybrid position with the office located in downtown Macon ***

Qualifications/Requirements:

Your college degree, strong computer skills, math aptitude, creativity, and understanding of the sales process are the keys to a competitive salary + commission/benefit package. Below are other good qualifications to have...
