Newscast Director

Job Description

WLUK is looking for a Director for our Morning Newscast! Come join our exciting team!

Responsibilities:
• Direct morning newscasts using ''Ignite'' automated production system
• Assist with pre & post show production, create and organize graphic material
• Cross train and rotate through other control room and studio positions
• Direct or perform as crew for special studio or remote productions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills:
• Knowledge of production standards and equipment
• Experience using ''Grass Valley Ignite'' or other automated production system preferred
• Strong working knowledge for use of Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience using Adobe CS/Chyron/PRIME
• Typing and good spelling skills
• College degree preferred
• Valid driver's license

General Hours:
• Early morning shift. May include weekend or holiday hours based on staffing needs.
