Job Description
WKRN News 2 Nashville is looking for an enthusiastic, highly creative Promotions Producer to join our Creative Services team. Advanced knowledge and experience using DSLR and cinematic cameras is needed.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2-5 years' experience in all aspects of video production, a self-starter/entrepreneurial attitude, and the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.

Off-site/field shoots are common, and after-hours production is occasionally necessary. The ability to work individually, one-on-one, and with a team is vital. A clean driving record is also needed. Physical requirements include standing and sitting for long periods of time and carrying and setting up equipment.

Principal job duties include, but are not limited to:
• Write, shoot, and edit promos, teases, and occasional commercial projects, short and long form
• Create weekly, monthly, and quarterly image and topical spots for our various news and lifestyle show products
• Digital and social media promotion
• Coordinate with other departments to provide promotional and commercial production including setting up shoots with talent and clients, assisting in studio with lifestyle show

Requirements
• Strong promotional/marketing writing skills
• Expertise in video production including cameras, lighting, sound, etc.
• Experienced video editing skills including graphics, color correcting, motion effects, sound enhancement, etc.
• Meeting daily, hard deadlines
• Knowing your way around digital/social marketing is a plus
• BA in media related field preferred or 2-5 years of extensive video production experience
