7NEWS in Boston is seeking a director who thrives in a fast-paced, breaking news environment. 7NEWSdirectors work with producers and control room crew to execute a news run down in a visually compelling way optimizing all the creative storytelling opportunities our set provides. Candidate must be detail focused and able to multi-task. We’re looking for a director who will collaborate to build dynamic moments in each newscast. Candidate must excel at handling last-minute changes and be able to communicate effectively to deliver important information to everyone involved. Ability to foster a supportive team environment is a must. Three years of experience directing newscasts and live breaking news coverage in a major market is preferred.
