Job Summary/Description:

We're looking for an Anchor to help lead our evening newscasts. This is a job that never comes open! WFIE is a legacy powerhouse in Evansville, Indiana. This is a team that only grows stronger. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- You need to be an excellent communicator- able to connect with the audience and your co-workers.
- You need to be a strong storyteller, both with your performance on the desk and with your writing.
- Loving field Anchoring and interacting with our audience is critical.
- Producing skills are a plus – they help you to work with the team to craft powerful newscasts.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Candidate must be a motivated team player with a great attitude. Successful candidate must be a strong writer, have a deep understanding of a story's context and have a strong news judgment. Successful candidate will thrive at breaking news reporting, and producing. You must be very comfortable with leadership and change, with the ability to guide reporters on their news coverage.
