Job Description
WCIA in Champaign is looking for a full time producer/coordinator for our daily, one-hour lifestyle program called CiLiving. The program showcases local businesses and organizations in a way that highlights their contributions to our community.

The successful candidate will be a motivated, hands-on broadcast enthusiast who is able to develop and administer organizational workflows.

Daily duties include but are not limited to:
• Responsible for evaluating show content as it pertains to CiLiving's brand and goals.
• Building daily show rundowns, timing the show, and contributing to the writing of segments
• Visualizing the production of each segment and communicating it to production staff
• Booking and scheduling clients and other guests, and organizing segments and stories into a cohesive sequence within live broadcast or digital content.
• Working with management and other team members to generate creative content and build/reinforce show branding
• Gathering, preparing, and integrating visual elements for each segment (video, pictures, etc)
• Coordinate with and coach clients and guests on best practices to productively and practically showcase their product or story.
• Execute strategies to engage and grow audiences across all media devices.
• Greeting and assisting guests during show preparations.
• Contributing to the writing of segments
• Organizing and archiving show assets
• Overseeing the online and social media aspects of the show
• Other duties as assigned

Desired Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in film, photography, television, news, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Must be able to interact well with clients, guests, show hosts/on air talent, videographers, managers, production, and engineering staffs.
• Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects with maximum efficiency
• Must be energetic, positive, and great in a team environment
• Must be highly motivated self-starter, able to work well alone and as part of a team
• Excellent verbal, written, grammatical, and analytical skills
• Strong journalistic integrity, good judge of content, and understanding of viewer needs and expectations.
• Excellent eye for visual storytelling, product showcasing, and presentation techniques/strategies
