Job Summary/Description:

WBTV is searching for an anchor who embodies passion, drive, and a commitment to excellence across all levels. This position requires a true leader not afraid to take chances and excel. This person is also a skilled reporter who drives coverage for WBTV two to three days a week and will be adept at anchoring breaking news and enterprising community-centered stories. As a WBTV anchor, you must excel at developing sources and cultivating relationships in the greater Charlotte community. We are looking for a journalist who is determined to help our station win on every platform, every single day.

In addition to the anchor role, this person is a leader and team player across the newsroom and beyond. We're searching for someone who can see an ''On Your Side'' story, whereas others may only see surface-level coverage. In short, we're looking for a strong journalist who can lead and inspire others to supercharge our brand.

Qualifications/Description:
- Three years minimum experience in a television newsroom or digital workplace.
