Job Summary/Description:
Team player. Organized. Aggressive with breaking news. A leader. WBTV is searching for its next Assignment Desk Editor who can contribute to the On Your Side brand in a meaningful way. This person knows a great accountability story and is not afraid to go after breaking news. Additionally, this role requires a team-first attitude who strives for excellence day-in and day-out.
This position will stay focused on breaking news and understand what an accountability story looks like in all its forms. This key newsroom role also excels at communication, collaboration, and creativity to make things happen from the desk to the newsroom.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Three years minimum experience in a television newsroom or digital workplace.
- A background in photojournalism is desired.
