WBOY, north central West Virginia's top-rated Television station, is looking for an entry level Master Control Operator. The Master Control Operator is responsible for the overall on-air look of the television station through airing programming and scheduled station breaks.
• Quality control of local commercials and promos
• Transfer local commercials and programs to the Hub and ensure they are received
• Effectively communicating with the Hub and ensuring they have required
• Review logs for missing media.
• Ensure that break times during newscasts are the same on both networks
• Monitor our on-air product

Requirements & Skills:
• Computer savvy with strong desire to learn.
• Reliability, Responsibility, & Teachability are qualities we are looking for in this position.
• Education and/or experience in digital electronics, broadcasting, or a related field is a plus, but not required.
• Fluency in English
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment.
• Strong PC/MS Office experience
• Experience with digital transmitters and other broadcast-related equipment a plus, but not required.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Flexibility to work any shift
