ServiceNow Architect(Remote)

The Job

The WarnerMedia Service Management Platform Team is seeking a ServiceNow Architect. The ServiceNow Architect will be responsible for the ServiceNow enterprise-wide technical architecture, platform capabilities and will drive standardization and best practices. They will also provide technical guidance in platform development and advise on configurations and development standards.

The Daily
• Creates and maintains a detailed view of the existing architecture. Creates system architecture documentation, diagrams, API interface specifications and component diagrams
• Provides architectural controls to ensure the correct technical solutions are used when delivering business solutions
• Resolves technical escalations, including responding to complex defects and solutioning of complex requirements
• Determines gaps between business requirements and product capability and defines workable solutions to bridge the gaps
• Advises and responsible for patching, upgrades and significant changes on the platform
• Communicates and enforces development standards
• Confirms the technical design and integration requirements with various systems to support processes that require data exchange
• Responsible for the implementation, ongoing enhancements, and support of all integrations with ServiceNow
• Evaluates emerging technologies, industry, and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities.
• Contributes to the monthly on-call schedule

The Essentials
• 6-8 years of relevant experience in designing or developing ServiceNow solutions across the NOW Platform
• Extensive experience with APIs/web services (REST and SOAP)
• Proficiency of JavaScript and common scripting languages is a must.
• Ability to locate and read logs
• Familiarity with network connectivity, protocols, ports
• Ability to interpret business priorities and understand business needs
• Ability to Analyze, design, and develop a software solution roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state of the business
• Experience managing large IT-enabled change projects and processes
• Superior written, oral, communication and presentation skills - ability to prepare high quality reports and presentations for IT stakeholders, senior management
• ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 foundation level certification preferred
