WarnerMedia is seeking a Director, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to lead our social impact initiatives in the UK and other key international markets.
As part of the International CSR team, the individual will work closely with stakeholders across WarnerMedia to develop and manage social impact partnerships and programs in the UK and across EMEA and APAC and help scale and adapt global CSR initiatives to local markets.
Primary focus areas: film and TV career pathways & skills development; Arts & Culture; and providing CSR support to our international film & TV productions and Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden.
The Daily
• Oversee strategy and delivery of our international below-the-line career pathways & skills programmes, creating opportunities for underrepresented individuals within the film and TV sector – includes careers awareness, skills training and production placements
• Lead WarnerMedia's international CSR Arts & Culture strategy and partnerships
• Provide CSR and community engagement support to Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden
• Partner with global CSR team to deliver environmental sustainability initiatives, particularly Green Productions
The Essentials
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required, preferably in CSR, communications, nonprofit management or related fields
• Experience in film and TV production strongly preferred
• Experience in sustainability and environmental reporting a plus
• Conversant in corporate responsibility and social issues and best practices, including in areas of social mobility, equity and inclusion, environmental sustainability, government relations and community affairs
• Familiarity with the UK nonprofit and government community specific to media and entertainment, including knowledge of key organizations and issues.
• Extensive related work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) required, video creation a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required
• Experience working and interacting across departments and with all levels of executives, including senior management and nonprofit partners
