The Job

The Creative Director, Copy is a central figure on the Creative team that works closely with the Creative Director, Art and is instrumental in ideation, creative development, and presentations. The Creative Director, Copy also serves as a coach for the junior members of the creative team. The role works to develop design concepts, messaging hierarchy, and direction for corporate campaigns and initiatives. This will require making conceptual and stylistic decisions, in addition to creating copy, mockups, and prototypes to illustrate the ideas for other members of the team and/or management. The CD, Copy will oversee multiple projects at one time. This will include overseeing copy and design direction, ensuring all deadlines are met, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise during the duration of the project. They also serve as proofreading and quality control for projects by reviewing and editing the team's final outputs before distribution occurs.

The Daily

The CD, Copy will write website copy and social copy to support programming and brand initiatives. They will also develop copy and content for a variety of media including flyers, brochures, catalog, email, social and web; with the intention of producing error-free copy that adheres to WarnerMedia's style guide. The CD, Copy will also proofread all deliverables for tone and style inconsistencies, grammatical errors, and any other potential issues. Overall, this role will be responsible for brand copy alignment, as well as, elevating the copy discipline within the department.

The Essentials
• 7+ years of experience
• Expert knowledge and proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator
• Exceptional portfolio that demonstrates a refined copy and concepting sensibility
• Proficient in PC and Mac formats
• Presentation, Communication, and organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree or an applicable Arts degree.
