Your New Role…
Warner Bros Discovery (''WBD'') is looking for an experienced, detailed-oriented, and highly driven SEO Sr Product Manager to join our team. They will work with our Product, Engineering, Creative and Editorial teams to lead our SEO efforts across some of the biggest brands on the Web using the latest SEO best practices. They will create a comprehensive SEO growth strategy for each of our brand sites and prioritize the top projects to implement. The position requires strong organizational and time management skills as they will be working in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects. The role not only drives data-driven SEO strategy, but will also focus on technical SEO, being a key integrated partner in web development projects and technical audits.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Develop and drive our Digital Studios SEO product roadmap, improvements, and priorities.
• Provide strategic SEO counsel to the brands, understand their business, and serve as their go-to SEO thought leader
• Evaluate the current state of SEO for key WBD lifestyle brands, including Food Network, HGTV, and Travel Channel, and develop an action plan for improvement to drive acquisition.
• Perform SEO audits and inspections of websites to identify on-page, off-page, and technical issues
• Manage and influence both technical and non-technical internal and external teams in understanding organic business trends and executing against SEO strategies
• Analyze an extremely competitive marketplace and search industry, and take note of trends in the space, staying up to date on the latest developments in SEO and search engine trends
• Evangelize SEO and provide training to various stakeholders, such as Editorial, Product, and Marketing teams.
• Deeply understand the web development process and how to integrate SEO to support it
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once, including capability to balance competing priorities
• Evaluate recent technologies, strategies, and tactics, providing recommendations to ensure continued growth
Qualifications & Experience...
• 5+ years of proven SEO experience in optimizing technically complex websites
• Ability to identify opportunities and set SEO strategy and roadmap for multiple brands
• Understanding of technical SEO skills, including ability to evaluate HTML and JavaScript for SEO purposes and make recommendations
• Understanding of search engines, spiders, and ranking criteria
• Proficient in MS Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO Tools (Moz, SEMrush, etc.) a positive.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Possesses a deep understanding of the ad supported space and is a champion for the consumer.
• Executes against a vision via small, medium, and long-term projects
• Capable of being a doer and longer-term strategic thinker.
• Thrives in a fast-paced team environment that values accountability, continuous learning, and agility.
• Comfortable working in a small, lean team that requires active participation and high productivity.
• Previous Enterprise-level SEO experience preferred
