TT Games was acquired by Warner Bros. in 2007 and went on to develop the hit LEGO games franchise. The company is proud to continue its mission to be the leading publisher of interactive entertainment for young gamers and their families.

TT Games are looking for a Senior Technical Designer with proven technical design experience on console or PC titles, to take on a key role on an exciting new LEGO game based on a major IP.

Experience and Skills
• Has excellent well-rounded knowledge of Unreal Blueprint or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Maya or other similar 3D modelling packages.
• Adept at creating complex technical and/or visual game content which respects game performance and engine integration constraints, as well as respecting the input from other departments.
• Has excellent creative flair, a great eye for detail - with decent knowledge of animation techniques, game-feel and presentation.
• Has good understanding of game cameras.
• Responsible for helping define the scope of work for assigned tasks. Makes contributions to complex areas of the project.
• Excellent ability to diligently implement, manipulate, and tune content in the game engine - with specific respect to game performance and engine integration constraints.
• Holds high standards for quality, productivity, initiative and teamwork.
• Previously shipped at least 2 AAA Games to have had the experience of working in a large multi-disciplinary team.
• Able to provide and take direction to team members. Influences work quality of the team and seeks to improve the knowledge and performance of others.
• Is results driven and has a clear picture of what they want to achieve.
• Has authority to take action to resolve issues or problems within the scope of their position. Has good understanding of factors impacting decisions. Identifies multiple solutions and collaboratively determines the most effective course of action for any given problem. Draws on their own and others' experience to solve complex problems using sound judgment.
• Acts as a mentor and role model. Actively shares knowledge within area of expertise and influences other related disciplines. Can provide training, guidance and/or direction to less experienced team members.
• Actively pushes training to improve quality within the team.
• Possesses strong knowledge of game design principles such as level design, meta game, puzzle design, game progression and pacing, etc
• Able to write clear and concise documentation.
• Capable of good time management (understands where their time is best spent)
• Proactive. Doesn't require prompting to push agendas forward.
• Has an awareness of relevant trends in the industry and seeks to bring relevant knowledge into our games where appropriate.
• Can steer systems and/or areas of responsibility. Works effectively with other content creators to ensure areas of responsibility are within scope and are feasible.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
