The Data & Analytics organization is at the forefront of developing and maintaining frameworks, tools, and data products vital to WBD, including flagship streaming product Max and non streaming products such as Films Group, Sports, News and overall WBD ecosystem .

This team will support studios, sports, news and corporate as well.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Successful track record
of instrumenting tools, automation, and processes at scale for frontend and backend Quality engineering activities (Unit, Integration, User journey, Load, payment, regression testing)
• Defining performance metrics, analyzing the usage of the application
• Deliver the product performance tuning and recommendations despite complex technical inter dependencies with cross geographical teams.
• Build a culture of performance engineering excellence team (quality, security, performance, scalability, availability, resilience etc.)
• Should be able to define the load and performance engineering scenarios and should be able to execute the need against the KPIs
• Should be knowledge in defining the reliability engineering roadmap of the product
• Understanding of automation workflows, CICD release pipelines, test environments across multiple products and release within an agile development framework
• Experience using various tools and technologies such as JIRA, Confluence, GitHub
• Experience working with DevOps teams to drive improvements in Release Tools pipeline for automated tracking and reporting on release artifacts: JIRA items, sprint scope, bug report, test report, release notes .

What to Bring:
• 5+ years of hands-on software and quality engineering experience
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of standard quality best practices, techniques and methodologies to drive continuous quality improvements
• Strong experience writing API smoke, regression, and end-to-end tests to ensure integration points are thoroughly tested
• Ability to take a project from scoping the requirements and building the test cases
• Experience with continuous integration / continuous deployment systems like GitHub Actions, Jenkins on similar
• Strong CS fundamentals including OO concepts, data structures, and distributed systems
• Strong UI & API test automation experience
• Fluency in React ( NextJs ) and Python is preferred
• Proven experience developing comprehensive and effective Test and Performance tools, as well as frameworks.
• Hands-on experience testing large-scale, production systems in React, Python or Java
• Experience working with public cloud infrastructure (AWS )
• Familiarity with Gen AI based test automation, models, processes and tools

Preferred:
• Hands-on experience working with data lake technologies and ecosystems (Spark, Trino, Iceberg, Delta, etc ) preferred
• Familiarity with testing AI/ML models and evaluation of the model quality
• Strong database understanding including SQL
