Your New Role:
Join our dynamic team at WBD, a leader in the media technology industry, as we continue to innovate and provide cutting-edge solutions that revolutionize media workflows. We are looking for a seasoned Principal Software Product Manager to lead the development and management of our media workflow products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software product management with specific experience in media workflows, project management, and cross-functional leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
• Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for our media workflow system products, ensuring alignment with business goals and market needs.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
• Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
• Engage directly with customers to gather detailed feedback and incorporate it into product development.
• Define and prioritize product requirements and user stories, ensuring clarity and feasibility for development teams.
• Oversee the product lifecycle from concept to launch, including beta tests and post-launch assessment.
• Foster a collaborative environment and guide cross-functional teams to achieve product milestones and deliverables.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate product success and identify areas for improvement.
• Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to stakeholders and at industry events.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the technological and competitive landscape as it pertains to media workflows.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
• 8+ years of experience in product management within the software/technology sector, with at least 3 years focused on media workflow systems.
• Proven experience managing all aspects of a successful software product throughout its lifecycle.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• Technical proficiency with media workflow technologies and understanding of the production and broadcasting processes.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and comfortable guiding Agile project teams.

Preferred Skills:
• Certification in Product Management.
• Experience in user interface design and user experience considerations.
• Demonstrated ability in working with global teams and managing remote employees.
