Senior Manager Franchise Commercial supports the Advertising and Partnerships team in designing the monetization strategy for some of WBD's biggest franchises. This individual is responsible for Idea Conceptualization, Pitch & Proposal development for some of WBD's biggest franchises, working in lock-step with WBD Lines of business such as Streaming, Consumer Products, Global Themed Entertainment, Theatrical, Marketing and more to design 'One WBD' commercial approach.
The role is responsible for the following:
• Be the knowledge hub for all franchise-related information for Priority Franchises and Gather best practices for Franchise monetization from around the world
• Coordinate with the various Lines of business to ensure that we understand their dos/donts / guardrails and KPIs that would help design effective pitches
• Proactive and Reactive Pitch development - Develop the Strategy and In-depth pitches for identified Key franchise such that the ideas developed are in synergy with trending advertising/marketing themes and platforms
• Partner with Sales in external client-facing pitches to support the sell
• Work with Partner Marketing and Solutions to transition the project from pitch to implementation smoothly with a troubleshooting mindset for roadblocks
• Do Quarterly Competitive analysis for what WBD's competitors are doing in the monetization space
Your Role Accountabilities...
PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT – PROACTIVE & REACTIVE – 60%
• Develop Ideas for adsales and partnerships clients that are built upon WBD Key Franchise beats, both reactively and proactively focused on trending advertising/marketing themes and platforms
• Copywriting for Basic Scripts, Captions and Storyboards to support Pitches
• Utilize the latest research data and broader external trends to justify recommended strategies and tactics
• Provide campaign pitch presentation decks and mock-ups for campaign pitches
LOB COORDINATION - PROACTIVE & REACTIVE – 20%
• Collaborate proactively and reactively with all key lines of business (e.g. Marketing, Franchise, Consumer products, Streaming, Creative Services, GTE, Theatrical etc.) regional and global to provide the best possible creative solutions that are on-brand
• Work with the key LOBs during the various stages of pitching to synergize/ deconflict
• Support Client Solutions during campaign execution in liaising with key LOBs to troubleshoot roadblocks
EXTERNAL PITCH SUPPORT TO SALES – 20%
• Drive Sales prospecting with the sales team giving them a GTM assessment per key sellable beat
• Represent Franchise as well as ideas in external meetings with the ability to Ideate and iterate live to support sales in these discussions
Qualifications & Experience
Years of experience: 8-10 years of work experience in advertising/ creative/ media agency in a business development role spanning across strategy and pitching General knowledge of sales process and dependencies Experience in developing creative concepts Experience in Regional business – working with multiple markets and cultures
