Marketing & Publicity Executive (12-month fixed term)

Position Responsibilities

Marketing
• Administrative work relating to all retail marketing campaigns, including social media & digital approvals, sourcing prize packs/prize fulfillment & GWP's
• Update brand decks & brand one pagers as required
• Provide social media assets to licensees & retailers and co-ordinate approvals with relevant Global teams
• Support Senior Manager, Marketing, Retail & Communications with the planning, management, and execution of events
• Work with external vendors and agencies, ensuring the most competitive price for the products required for retail POS, events, and all other departmental needs
• Create campaign summary reports for all retail marketing campaigns
• Liaise with Global teams where required, ensuring timely responses
• Be a ''Brand Ambassador'' and ensure our brands are always represented according to Brand Guidelines
• General support for Senior Manager, Marketing, Retail & Communications as required
• Work cross functionally across all Warner Bros. Discovery divisions ie. request latest TV ratings, theme park updates, franchise updates

Publicity
• Work with ANZ PR agency to brief in ANZ campaigns
• Provide ANZ PR agency with relevant information to successfully execute campaigns: for example, product samples, images & product information
• Work with Global PR team to ensure all local publicity content is approved
• Build and distribute quarterly newsletter
• Maintain updated partner lists for quarterly Consumer Products newsletter

Sales Support
• Work with the sales team to develop marketing campaigns relating to their product categories
• Work with sales team to develop relevant sales tools
• Contribute to the development & presentation of retail campaign pitches

Work Experience
• 3+ years experience in marketing and retail
• Experience with client relationships, agencies and/or suppliers
• Digital and social experience will be highly regarded

Knowledge/Skills
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent desirable
• Excellent communication skills & confidence dealing with external parties
• Passion for Warner Bros. brands & the retail industry
• Must have a positive and can-do attitude
• Experience in the Licensed/Entertainment Industry a bonus
• Social media knowledge and experience
• Client management and negotiation skills
• Work well under pressure; with superior customer service orientation skills
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and the ability to take initiative
• Knowledge of Acrobat/Adobe Photoshop
• High level interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, partner effectively with internal and external parties and drive to execution
• Responsible, accountable and results-oriented
• Strong decision making and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent attention to detail with high level of accuracy under pressure
• A strong team player who contributes to an environment that embraces constant change and innovation
