The role
We are hiring a number of Apprenticeship positions across our EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Film & Games teams. These roles are based in our Holborn office which is in London, UK.
You'll be learning all about advertising, media, digital and exhibitor marketing of films or games with the opportunity to work with our media and creative agencies.
These roles will suit someone who is interested in either film or video games and is looking to make their first step into a career within this industry.
Key Responsibilities
• Support regional teams across EMEA in the execution of our promotional campaigns.
• Collating information from colleagues or other sources.
• Manage the distribution of marketing assets to press and content creators.
• Working closely with other interns and apprentices to monitor campaigns and update trackers.
• Carrying out research projects.
• Manage and organise calendars.
• Collect, analyse and create comprehensive reports. Using different market platforms such as the Google Search Tracker to inform your findings.
• Being a point of contact for questions to your team.
• Build, maintain and cultivate a good working relationship with our key marketing contacts across our EMEA teams and agencies.
Experience Required
• Any previous work experience would be advantageous (it doesn't have to be in this area of industry).
Competencies we are looking for
• A love for either film or video games
• A willingness to learn about the role, the industry and marketing/PR.
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel, and some experience of using databases and PowerPoint.
• You should be well organized with good attention to detail
• You should be self-motivated and able to work without close supervision
Our Apprenticeship programme is designed to be an alternative to university education, therefore we are specifically looking for non-graduates for these roles.
About our Apprenticeship programme
• Contract length: 18 months
• Apprenticeship qualification: Business Administrator, Level 3
• Salary: £19,000 per year
• You will be given real responsibilities and learn how to make effective business critical decisions.
• You will get a broad overview into how a major commercial studio operates and get an in depth understanding of the workings in the department where you complete your apprenticeship.
• You will be part of our structured placement training programme which offers a number of classroom-based sessions to improve business critical skills such as presentation and organisational skills.
• It will improve your employability and chances of finding a job once you finish.
• You will be part of our Early Careers community of over 100 Apprentices & Interns! Meaning you will have an important support network and plenty of opportunities to socialise.
