Job Description
The Transfer Pricing Manager will be a key role in WBD's global transfer pricing team. As Transfer Pricing Manager you will be a key member of WBD's Global Transfer Pricing team, helping to implement and support global transfer pricing strategy and policies. You will ensure accurate and timely completion of transfer pricing calculations while acting as the first point of contact for internal stakeholders.
Your Role Accountabilities
• Perform and/ or review monthly, quarterly and annual transfer pricing calculations, analysis to support calculation accuracy, and preparation of journal entries against hard deadlines.
• Design, test and maintain transfer pricing models.
• Identify and drive areas of improvement within current processes with the aim of maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
• Assist in ensuring quarterly and annual Transfer Pricing Sox controls are completed timely and accurately.
• Assist with tax technology and process improvement initiatives which will include the transition from excel-based calculations to an automated software solution. To be involved in the design, implementation and continued maintenance of future automation software
• Lead or support transfer pricing aspects of statutory account audits.
• Support other areas of the global Transfer Pricing team, such as tax audits, TP Documentation, and Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR).
Qualifications & Experiences
• 5+ years of Operational Transfer pricing experience either in-house or as an advisor to multi-national corporations.
• BS/ BA or MS in Data Management/Sciences, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
• Comfort with complex data and calculations involving multiple data sources.
• Knowledge of SAP, S4 HANA, Hyperion and / or other ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines.
• Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with and explain complex transfer pricing concepts to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Desirable
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Knowledge of media industry.
• Exposure to US international tax principles a plus.
