Job Description
This new role will report into the Manager, Technical Workflows Governance and will be responsible for supervising a team of editors and coordinators dedicated to cleaning up a content library that has been built for over 100 years and across multiple locations, with both internal and external vendors. You and your team will be empowered to access the multiple internal MAMs and interface with external content partners to locate, retrieve, conform, and ingest the best of our content for servicing our massive distribution pipeline, bringing the best of Warner Bros. Discovery content to the world. Then work with our metadata governance team to clean up the title data and consolidate the records.

This person will use their extensive audio, video, and ancillary material background to support multiple initiatives within our Global Content Operations team, delivering thousands of titles and assets to some of the largest content distribution partners in the world. The goal of this role would be to provide leadership and drive towards KPIs that will measure throughput of the team and their rejection rate, then improve on those metrics by optimizing the workflow.

Your Role Accountabilities:
• Establish and lead a team of coordinators and editors dedicated to conforming the content within our extensive library.
• Manage and optimize the conform process, reporting back to the leadership team on progress on specificly assigned projects, any concerns around timelines, and KPIs around throughput and rejection rates associated with the work being done.
• Ensure the highest quality output from the team by keeping rejection rates from our content partners to a minimum and continually looking for ways to improve.
• Be a media expert, working with our Client Services, Content Operations, Localization, Data Governance, and other teams across Global Content Operations to accomplish your goals.
• Attend meetings as a leader within the Content Library and Workflow Management team and Licensing as a whole, representing our goals and iniatiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experiences:
• Must be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the content creation and distribution lifecycle including versioning and localization for international markets.
• 5+ years experience in content creation within the media industry.
• Demonstrable experience with video, audio, and timed text formats, framerates, and codecs.
• 1+ years experience in leading a team, managing their workflow as it pertains to shifting deadlines, as well as measuring, reporting, and improving the KPIs associated with the work.
• Demonstrantable experience with a ticketing system (Zendesk, Jira, etc.) and the ability to own and optimize the ticketing workflow.
• Comfortable navigating, interpreting, and working with multiple data sources.
• Expert communicator with the ability to manage work autonomously and set expectations effectively.
• Stong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to anticipate issues and take steps to avoid them.
• Famaliarity with editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Avid, Resolve, etc.

Not Required but preferred experience:
• Prior experience with an internationally distributed media company or localization/distribution vendor with a high volume of deliverables.
• Significant experience with global content servicing workflow and technical specifications for world wide partner like Amazon, Apple, Goole, and Netflix among others.
• Proven examples of working quickly to identify issues and solutions, taking on the responsibility of generating success.
• Have proven examples that embody our company's principals that include acting as one team, empowering storytelling, and building what's next.
