The Manager, Administration is responsible for providing oversight of the clerical staff and day-to-day operations of the Production Rentals & Design Studio division – encompassing Costume, Property, Drapery, Grip, Set Lighting, Paint Store, Design Studio, Photo Lab, Metal Shop, Sign Shop, Staff Shop, Transportation and Special Effects, and acts as subject matter expert and initial point of contact for accounts payable, financial reporting and results tracking, expense reconciliation, customer refunds and project reconciliation and overseeing daily/weekly/monthly transactions. In an expanded capacity, the Manager will oversee revenue for the departments, and implement the billing process for production rentals, streamlining the systems and workloads for all the staff under their direct supervision.
This position supervises (16) Clerks responsible for overseeing daily/weekly/monthly transactions, revenue billing, billing for production rentals, sending client estimates to obtain PO's, responding to production inquiries about billing, reporting financial activity, reconciliations, obtaining PO's, performing accruals, tracking financial activity in SAP, reconciling P-Card transactions, maintaining good Vendor relationships and payment management. The clerical team also onboards new union affiliated trades people, performing i-9 verification, inputting time and attendance for day-hires, verifying project assignments and hours with department Foreperson. In addition, the Manager oversees the clerk's scheduling, vacations, assigns work, and approves their timesheets.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Provide daily supervision and guidance for Production Rentals & Design Studio department clerks. Establish role definition and training; review performance and direct as needed; approve weekly time and attendance; maintains a solid working knowledge of the labor agreements and assists with disciplinary issues and conflicts in coordination with Department head, Labor Relations and People & Culture.
• Oversees transactions in RTPro, Xytech and Square, SAP, JET financial reporting, Concur P-Card reconciliations, Fiori and SPARC for customer refunds, verify capital expenditures. Responsible for overseeing the financial performance of the Department on a fiscal period basis, including reviewing daily/weekly/monthly transactions.
• Responsible for supervising and tracking of expenditures, gathering backup as needed and providing to Finance team. Oversees the Capital request process on a yearly, monthly, period basis.
• Establish excellent customer service standards for the department, monitors and directs service levels to achieve and maintain the highest level of performance. Acts to resolve any issues that may arise.
Qualifications & Experience…
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
• 3-5 years management or supervisory experience in a related environment required
• 3-5 years managing a budget, payroll, and other departmental expenditures strongly preferred
• Experience hiring and managing union employees, including evaluating work performance, counseling, coaching and terminations preferred
• Knowledge or familiarity with RTPro, Xytech, SAP, JET, Concur, Square, SPARC, Fiori preferred
• Strong computer skills; Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Power Point required; knowledge of other PC based applications preferred
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities
• Solid communication, verbal and written, people and organization skills
• Solid retail analytical skills
• Strong customer service skills with dedication to customer satisfaction
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and personnel
• Must be proactive and capable of assuming additional responsibility as necessary

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $57,651.00 - $107,067.00 salary per year.
