The Finance Analyst GSA is a member of the GSA Finance team, reporting into the Finance Director Networks & Streaming GSA. This position is a Finance Business Partner to the local business with a focus on Networks across the German speaking territories.
It provides financial insights and supports the decision making process and collaborates closely with CoE, GBS and other Corporate funtions to achieve and maintain the common corporate goals.
Your Role accountabilities...
Business Partnering
Provide business support for Networks and partner with key business stakeholders to support & drive the decision-making process.
• Partner with key business stakeholders to achieve shared goals
• Support business-driven projects from a finance perspective
• Support & coordinate business units specific analysis
• Act as sparring partner and first point of contact for commercial issues
Budgeting, Forecasting & Month End
Work closely with the local business and CoE to oversee, manage & coordinate Month End processes, the Forecast and Budget.
• Supports the budget & forecast process for Networks, working closely with the local business and the central finance teams
• Review the underlying assumptions of Budgets and Forecasts
• Coordinate with Business and CoE and other parts of Finance to ensure timely and accurate Budgets & Forecasts
• Support financial analysis and provide financial insights
• Present financial information into clear and concise value-added analysis
• Help to prepare decks, dashboards and other recurring management updates
• Support strategic and long-term-planning process
Other
• Run Ad Hoc analysis for the Finance Director Networks & Streaming GSA and the local Business Partner
• Prepare and review Business Cases
• Analyse performance vs. goals etc. through KPI driven analysis
• Support of internal and external financial audits in collaboration with other Finance departments such as GBS, CoE etc.
Qualifications & Experience…
• Relevant University Degree (Bachelor, Master, Diploma) or relevant professional training with experience in a comparable job
• At least a first experience in controlling & financial reporting
• Experience with the process requirements of a multi-national group and used to work in an international business environment
• Sound skills of controlling and reporting processes in a commercial and international environment
• Working in an ERP environment
• IT-literate with excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel)
• Experience with S4/Hana is an advantage
• Fluent German in speaking, reading and writing
• Fluent English in speaking, reading and writing
