Job Description
As an integral member of the SAP Technical Leadership Team, this role will be responsible for the overall SAP platform support and service delivery at the Hyderabad Global Capability Center (GCC). This position involves managing a cross-functional team of experts across SAP Infrastructure, Development, Security, and Analytics domains. The role requires providing deep expertise in SAP Basis, ensuring seamless operational platform support for the entire SAP landscape while leading and coordinating teams to deliver a high-performance, secure, and scalable SAP environment.
Your Role Accountabilities:
Operations , People and Project Management
• Manage SAP Basis & Infrastructure operation al s upport activities at Hyderabad GCC.
• Manage SAP Infrastructure Projects Delivery from Hyderabad GCC.
• Direct People Manager forthe SAP i nfrastructure , d evelopment , s ecurity and analytics resources at Hyderabad GCC.
• Provide thought leadership appropriately on various SAP technology effort s .
• Deploy uniform operational practices & discipline for all SAP platforms across business units .
• Effectively interface and collaborate with other infrastructure teams: S erver, S torage and N etworking.
• Stay abreast of SAP roadmaps and development to help improve current platform.
• Create and maintain team documentation leading to best practices, standardization and service desk support.
Solution Design and Implementation
• Provide architectural oversight on key design decisions related to SAP Platform .
• Collaborate closely with
other capability centers to design, architect, and deliver technical solutions that meet project requirement .
• Take ownership of the technical feasibility and risk management associated with each solution, ensuring quality and cost-effective delivery.
• Act as the point person from GCC -Hyderabad technical team responsible for solution design and delivery across SAP Platform, Development, Security and Analytics .
• Contribute to the documentation of the solution architecture and design to ensure transparency and ease of implementation.

• Accurately and clearly articulate strategic issues and provide relevant, logical options for solving them
• Create comprehensive and meaningful strategy presentations for senior executives
• Build a framework and drive development through dynamic business intelligence tools and dashboards for use in ongoing
operations planning and goal measurement through KPIs
• Drive continuous improvement in platform operational processes through automation, system optimization, adoption of new SAP functionalities , and deployment of GenAI .

opportunities for digital transformation , by leveraging technolgies such as S/4HANA and cloud / BTP solutions.
• Monitor market trends and innovations in cloud platform management, and clean core DevOps
Analytics, Compliance and Risk Management
• Manage the vulnerability remediation and SOX security compliance across SAP infrastructure in partnership with security and compliance organization.

operational support from GCC-Hyderabad
Qualifications & Experiences:
Undergraduate degree required in computer science, mathematics
or business sciences
5 -7 years of experience in managing an offshore SAP technical delivery team specializing in SAP Basis Infrastructure .
5 - 7 years
of experience as people manager role for a technical team size with more than 10 resources .
Broad understanding of SAP Platform including Infrastructure, Development, Security, and Analytics domains.
10 -11 years of SAP Basis Administration experience . 8 years of experience working in a NetWeaver 7.0 or higher environment.

of experience supporting SAP in Cloud environment (preferable AWS)
Experience supporting multiple SAP pl atforms such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4 HANA , SLT, LVM, SAP SCM, APO/Live Cache, SAP GRC, SAP IQ, SAP SRM, Portal, BTP, Fiori Launchpad, SAP CRM, HANA
Experience with Enhancement & Support Packages, ABAP and Java stack administration including system copies.
Experience with HANA and/or DB2 Databases and Unix administration concepts as necessary for Basis work, including scripting in AWS Cloud and
On-Premise environment .
Knowledge of overall technology
Strong analytical , technical communication and people leadership skills.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English and tactfully with all levels of personnel including the leadership .
Adequate interpersonal and communications skills both written and verbal to include translating complex technical issues clearly and precisely to both technical and non-technical parties .
Must be able to pay close attention to complex detail and understand written and oral instructions.
Must be able to delegate and assign responsibility to the underlying team effectively.
Must be able to work well under time constraints , handle multiple tasks with changing priorities, communicating changes in scope and schedule to all parties concerned.
Must be customer service oriented .
Must be able to work flexible hours, including possible overtime , when necessary.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality .
Not Required but preferred experience: :
• Graduate degree preferred not required in computer science, mathematics, or business sciences
• Post-graduate work experience in a related field (media & entertainment or high tech)
• Knowledge of and passion for media, entertainment, and technology industries (including key players, growth trends and drivers, new media models, industry structure, etc.)
• Familiarity with streaming and similar products /services
• Experience working in a national or global company
• Some visualization tool knowledge would be helpful ( i.e. Tableau, Power BI)
• Comfortable in working in highly iterative and somewhat unstructured environment
• Familiarity with SOX and ITIL
• SAP and PMI certification s are a plus.
• Understanding of SAP applications and its functionalities is an added advantage.
• Experience managing SAP in AWS cloud environment .
